This chapter analyzes and reflects on an incident that occurred at the consulting company of the Opuwo Hydropower Project in the northwestern part of Namibia. The Cultural, Personal, Situational, and Institutional factors that led to the incident are examined via the CPSI model. The results included impacts on water quality, loss of vegetation, displacement of fauna, and that once the dam construction is complete and the reservoir begins to fill. The chapter focuses on personal identification, interacting partners being OvaHimba people of the Kunene region, change of perspectives and empathy application, reflections, conclusions, and recommendations.
