Teen Dating Violence
摘要
The unbiased and swift assessment of students exposed to teen dating violence is essential to ensure the safety of these students. School-based health providers may be the first people to identify dating violence and can play a necessary role in supporting youth who are experiencing dating violence. This chapter will present 2 cases of examples of teen dating violence and discuss the prevention, screening, and response strategies for these forms of abuse and unhealthy behaviors. This chapter will also focus on the RADAR (routine universal screening, ask direct questions, document screening, assess readiness and safety, and review, respond and refer) approach, signs of healthy and unhealthy relationships, and the Teen Power and Control Wheel.
