Eye and Ear Complaints
摘要
Chief complaints associated with the eye and ear occur frequently in school-aged children. While some can be relatively benign others can have high morbidity and mortality if not identified and treated promptly. Therefore distinguishing urgent and emergent conditions of the eye and ear will be the goal of this chapter. Utilizing three student cases to illustrate common chief complaints we will be able to recognize a variety of etiologies as well as how to appropriately evaluate and determine disposition of each.
