It is essential that adolescents and young adults are provided with information about the many contraceptive methods available to them. There are several different options to choose from, each with their own side effects, risks, and benefits. Educating and guiding adolescents as they make informed decisions about their reproductive health can help prevent unplanned pregnancies. In addition, it is also important for adolescents to know about emergency contraception and when it should be used. This chapter discusses three cases of students who may present to school-based health centers with contraception-related concerns.
