This chapter presents the theories of attraction and Lyapunov stability for semigroup actions on topological spaces. It presents the concepts of regions of attraction and domains of attraction and the relation among these concepts, and the various concepts of attractors by using the regions of attraction. It also presents the notion of attractor from Conley’s theory and several notions of Lyapunov stable sets, showing the relation among these concepts and some of their properties.
