Museum Pollutants and Preventive Conservation: State of the Art According to Publications Review
摘要
Although the effects of contaminants on museum collections began to be known since the 18th Century, it is during the last 20 years that indoor pollutants have been considered some of the main contributors affecting the quality of the museum environment. The aim of this paper is to propose an overview of the research according publication review that has been done during the last decades concerning indoor pollutants in museums, internal emissions, selection of materials and mitigation in order to develop preventive conservation strategies.
