The paper is devoted to the assessment of the socio-economic effect of the construction of a transport infrastructure facility on the example of the Bolshoy Smolensky Bridge. The paper examines the theoretical foundations of assessment, the factors influencing it, as well as the methods used for analysis. In particular, practical aspects are described, including data search and analysis, assessment of economic, social and environmental impacts. The relevance of this topic is due to the fact that in conditions of a rapid increase in the urban population and an increase in traffic load, effective planning and implementation of projects for the construction of new transport facilities to ensure comfortable and safe movement of citizens becomes extremely important. The analysis, in turn, helps to identify potential economic benefits from construction, such as reducing travel time, increasing road capacity and increasing the investment attractiveness of the region, additionally, it takes into account the impact on the environment. The results and conclusions obtained during the study will help to assess the effect of the construction of the Bolshoy Smolensky Bridge, understand what shortcomings there are at the stages of planning and implementing transport construction projects, and formulate recommendations for improvement.

The paper is devoted to the assessment of the socio-economic effect of the construction of a transport infrastructure facility on the example of the Bolshoy Smolensky Bridge. The paper examines the theoretical foundations of assessment, the factors influencing it, as well as the methods used for analysis. In particular, practical aspects are described, including data search and analysis, assessment of economic, social and environmental impacts.
