Summary and Concluding Remarks
摘要
Our aim in this book has been twofold: First, we have aimed to develop a method for the assessment of something that is at once as powerful and as intangible as a vision, which has not yet been realised in practice. Going beyond the framework of a traditional health technology assessmentHealth technology assessment (HTA) (HTA), we have further developed and expanded the methodological framework of a vision assessmentVision assessment for this purpose. Second, we have applied this methodology to the specific vision of using organoids as a tool to realise precision medicinePrecision medicine (PM), as patient-specific models to guide treatment selection in the realm of cancer medicine.
