The present research dwells on the imperative factors both social as well as emotional factors that impact investment decisions. Amidst the financial landscape dominated by algorithms and qualitative models, deciphering the human element and aspects to know the patterns of investment become highly impossible. It becomes imperative to comprehend the market dynamics and draw adequate conclusions. This study is an attempt to explore the various parameters of investment behavior such as sentiments of investors, perception of risk and investment behavior which majorly impact the investment decisions. Moreover, social dimensions, interpersonal relationships, social network and availability of information and more are crucial to shape the market trends and investment behavior. Therefore, this study aims to probe into the factors as well as their nexus between the same that give shape to the investment decisions. Furthermore, the study also aims to extract the complex and micro information which are away from the traditional principles of investment behavior. Findings of the research will be useful for the investors, financial professionals and policymakers to get a birds view on the investment behavior and the factors that drive the investment decision making process.
