This paper presents a mixed-integer optimization model for household energy management that optimizes the scheduling of appliances and integrates solar energy generation. The aim is to reduce electricity costs by efficiently managing energy consumption while considering dynamic electricity pricing and user preferences. A mathematical model was developed to account for appliance usage and solar generation. This approach helps households to reduce their electricity bills and shift their energy consumption towards periods of lower cost or higher renewable energy availability.

摘要

This paper presents a mixed-integer optimization model for household energy management that optimizes the scheduling of appliances and integrates solar energy generation. The aim is to reduce electricity costs by efficiently managing energy consumption while considering dynamic electricity pricing and user preferences. A mathematical model was developed to account for appliance usage and solar generation. This approach helps households to reduce their electricity bills and shift their energy consumption towards periods of lower cost or higher renewable energy availability.
