Catalyst Supports
摘要
In recent years, nanoclay materials have attracted much interest as promising supports for catalysts in many chemical reactions. Using nanoclays to support catalytic sites has advantages, such as a large surface area, altering the surface chemistry, and good resistance to high temperatures. This chapter explores nanoclays’ use as catalyst support and underscores their crucial role in harnessing more efficient industrial catalytic processes. The recent advancements and potential directions for nanoclay-based catalyst support systems are presented. This makes the article a vital tool for investigators, engineers, and scientists in search of means to maximize the application of nanoclay-based catalyst supports to increase the catalytic efficiency and sustainability of the process.
