This paper introduces the Ukraine Reddit Corpus, a collection of posts and comments from over two dozen subreddits that discuss the Russo-Ukrainian War. We analyze the corpus from three perspectives in an attempt to characterize and ‘baseline’ authentic user behavior. By examining individual subreddits and collective trends, we make insights into online discourse dynamics and inform strategies for analyzing digital public opinion on geopolitical conflicts.
