Chapter 9: Community Radio Programmes highlights the content production aspect of community radio stations (CRS) in Nepal, India, and Bangladesh. It lists the thematic areas used to develop programmes—such as education, culture, and health; the preferred genres used in programme production—such as interviews, drama, and talk-shows; and the processes employed to select and produce content. Each of these key areas is addressed individually under each country and then a consolidated overview is provided for an understanding across the region.
