摘要
Sara Beck[aut]Beck, Sara’s career trajectory has been unlike any of the other women in this book. It started out the same—she joined the World Service working for programmes related to Russia and from there she was sent to Moscow as a bureau producerProducers. This was when her career path diverged down a management road when she was appointed as the regional hub bureau chief based in Moscow, overseeing people and stories in Russia and adjoining countries. She then took on similar “hub roles” in Jerusalem and Singapore. After this she returned to London and became the manager of the BBC Russian Service, a role that put her in charge of 100 + people and involved “change management” strategies. After this she worked in similar roles for the Business and Economics Unit and later still she was put in charge of BBC Monitoring at Caversham. Sara now works as an independent management career consultant.
