Facial Implants
摘要
A hypoplastic skeletal structure can accentuate age-related volume changes. Alloplastic implants provide a safe and reliable method of augmenting the lost volume. Malar, orbital rim, chin, and mandibular angle implants are the most used facial implants in the market today. Despite a long history of use in cosmetic surgery, facial implants continually improve. Innovations in biocompatible materials and CAD-CAM technology allow us to improve our surgical outcomes. This chapter will discuss the most commonly used facial implants, techniques, and a patient case presentation.
