Local and Tumescent Anesthesia for In-Office Procedures
摘要
Many reconstructive and office-based cosmetic procedures are often completed under local anesthesia. Topical anesthesia, nerve blocks, and infiltration of local anesthetic formulations are often utilized for pain control. A thorough understanding of available options, combination methods, and toxicities is critical for safe and effective in-office pain control. In this chapter, we review different local anesthetic options for cosmetic and surgical procedures.
