In recent years, minimally invasive techniques for periorbital rejuvenation have acquired increasing popularity. Use of hyaluronic acid fillers, biostimulant agents, and neuromodulators in the periorbital region carries little risk, is associated with minimal to no recovery time, and creates a subtle, yet desirable effect. Injectables can be used in-office to correct a series of features and issues that concern the periorbital area: tear trough deformity, postoperative deep upper eyelid sulcus, ROOF deflation, negative vector, and shallow orbit. In this chapter, we will discuss the aforementioned issues and their causes, patient evaluation, techniques that can be employed in the periorbital region, their benefits and limitations, postprocedural care, and possible complications.
