Perspective and Suggestions. Non-Fourier Heat Transport in Solids

In this chapter, we present a few suggestions and comments for future work. First, we discuss some differences between the usual two-fluid model and the one-fluid extended model (or, in other words, on the macroscopic two-fluid model). Our aim is to provide the researcher interested in such comparison some data about the values of the coefficients to be used in the latter model. Second, it should be desirable to bring some of the results here, especially those referring to the dynamics of quantized vortices and their interaction with the heat flux, to the very active setting of Bose–Einstein condensates. In the introduction, we have already commented some of the main differences between these condensates and superfluid helium. And, eventually, since one of the main aspects of the present book is the analysis of non-Fourier heat transport.
