This chapter reflects how staff evaluated their performance in assisting and supporting during the pandemic and what lessons can be learnt during this period. It is important to illustrate this because it directs where best practice can be observed for future pandemics alongside improving new ways of meeting the issues faced by asylum seekers and refugees. This chapter examines how the present challenges which asylum seekers and refugees are subjected to should now be addressed by the organisation as it moves forward into the future. The question which is asked here is what issues need to be addressed to meet the aims and objectives for asylum seekers and refugees, namely given the impact on the staff and volunteers’ mental health within the organisation. The purpose of this chapter is to evaluate some of the concerns staff have which directly impact their work on the frontline. It looks at some of the policies and procedures within the organisation to consider whether some of them need to be amended given the experience of working within a pandemic. The chapter demonstrates the many positive traits the organisation displays but also signals some of the legitimate concerns some staff have regarding the outside political and social resentment towards refugees generally.
