This chapter covers two final topics: ethical concerns, and potential future work. There are a number of potential ethical concerns with reciprocal recommendation, primarily privacy, fairness and the conundrum of using superficial metrics to measure human relationships. Finally, we examine holes in the current body of research, which represent potential opportunities for future researchers.
