The increasing complexity of urban traffic management within the smart city context necessitates effective tools for data integration and decision-making. In response to this need, this paper introduces an ontology specifically designed for traffic management within the smart city domain. The ontology named “TraffScOnto” aims to address the challenge of semantic heterogeneity and data interoperability by providing an enriched vocabulary representing traffic related concepts and relationships. The formalization of this model has been carried out using OWL language and Protégé tool. “TraffScOtno” encompasses a comprehensive range of traffic phenomena including traffic flow dynamics, congestion factors, road infrastructure and various transportation modes.

摘要
