The evolution of mobile network technology from 1G to 5G has driven substantial advancements in telecommunications, characterized by faster speeds, increased capacity, and enhanced connectivity reliability. Each generation has introduced new capabilities, from basic voice communication in 1G to high-speed data and multimedia services in 5G. This article explores prospective advancements beyond 5G, focusing on the development of sixth-generation (6G) networks. It emphasizes the incorporation of cutting-edge technologies like artificial intelligence (AI), visible light communication (VLC) and blockchain, which are expected to be fundamental in the 6G era. The article also addresses pressing security and privacy challenges that accompany these advancements, emphasizing the need for robust security frameworks. Potential vulnerabilities in new technologies necessitate innovative security solutions. To support researchers and developers, the article outlines methodologies for signal identification and technology evaluation, stressing the importance of rigorous testing and validation. Additionally, it proposes enhancements to biometric authentication systems for secure and convenient user authentication in 6G networks. The research includes a comprehensive literature review and the development of a model to demonstrate the effectiveness of proposed solutions, validated against various benchmarks. The research article aims to guide researchers and developers with valuable insights and practical solutions for advancing mobile communications.
