The volume of Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) in large Indonesian cities is rising significantly with the increasing population. According to the State Ministry of Environment (MoE), every Indonesian generates 0.76 kg/day of MSW. Considering Indonesia is the 4th populous country in the world with its over 275 million people in 2022 and expected to reach over 310 million in 2050, serious questions are being voiced as to what should be the focus of trash problems that are often intertwined with the concept of Ecopreneurship. This research paper aims to explore the implementation of ecopreneurship practices using ecobricks in Bandung City, Indonesia. Ecopreneurship refers to the entrepreneurial activities that prioritize sustainable and eco-friendly practices. Ecobricks, on the other hand, are plastic bottles filled with compacted plastic waste, serving as building blocks for sustainable construction. This study investigates the benefits, challenges, and potential of ecobricks as a tool for promoting ecopreneurship in Bandung City. Through an analysis of existing literature, field observations, and interviews with local ecopreneurs, this paper provides insights into the strategies, initiatives, and impact of implementing ecopreneurship with ecobricks in Bandung City, Indonesia.
