This chapter explores the various axes along which the study has been carried out—i.e. the factors affecting the delivery of public goods related to SDGs 3, 4, and 8. These are—the first and second-order effects of violence, the response of the state to violence, existing infrastructure in the region under study, access to this infrastructure, policy efforts by state and non-state actors, miscellaneous factors such as politics & gender, and lastly, the responses of border communities to disruption in the delivery of public goods.
