The article proposes a methodology for evaluating a comprehensive indicator of the efficiency of data exchange, which takes into account both technical indicators (data transmission speed, probability and time of packet delivery, and others), as well as economic parameters, for example, the cost of network deployment and maintenance, etc. This approach made it possible to evaluate the efficiency of data exchange in networks with various technologies, both wired Ethernet (1 Gb, 10 Gb, 40 Gb) according to uniform criteria, and wireless IEEE 802.15.04, IEEE 802.11.X, IEEE 802.16, as well as LTE mobile technologies. It is shown that on the basis of a simple multifactorial analysis, it is possible to perform an adequate comprehensive assessment of the efficiency of data exchange in both local and corporate networks. As examples, networks with different methods of exchange management are considered: without feedback with t-fold error correction; with decisive feedback and continuous transmission of “Return-to-N” frames; with decisive feedback and a positive receipt. The proposed method allows unifying the evaluation of the efficiency of data exchange in global IP network protocols, taking into account the economic costs of hardware and software tools and technologies that provide the necessary indicators of safety and reliability of the functional efficiency of networks in cyber-physical (socio-cyber-physical) systems.

摘要
