Determination of the Effect of Production Parameters and Test Force on Wear Performance of Dental Resin Parts Produced by Vat-Photopolymerization
摘要
The number of functional parts produced with the use of vat-photopolymerization in the dental industry continues to increase, and researchers and dentists working in this field have identified the need for improvements in the properties of the produced parts. In this study, the impact of production parameters, including exposure time (2.5, 3, and 3.5 s) and curing time (2, 5, and 10 min), as well as the applied wear test forces (1, 5, and 10 N), on the wear performance of parts produced by vat-photopolymerization with varying production parameters in a dry environment was investigated. The experimental findings indicated that samples produced with the shortest curing time of 2 min and the median exposure time of 3 s exhibited the least volume loss and, therefore, may be recommended for further investigation.
