In order to practice pharmacy in Alabama, individuals must meet and maintain certain requirements. In addition to possessing a professional pharmacy degree, applicants must complete the North American Pharmacist Licensure Examination® and the Alabama Multistate Pharmacy Jurisprudence Examination®. To maintain licensure, pharmacists must complete continuing education hours each license renewal period and submit an attestation of completion as well as a renewal fee each renewal cycle.
