The Context-Free Languages
摘要
We learned about regular languages and their limitations in the previous chapters. In this chapter, we study context-free languages. The basis of context-free languages is context-free grammar. The grammar uses substitutions of variables to produce language members. We will learn that many non-regular languages from the previous chapter are contest-free. Like regular languages, context-free languages have limitations. We will learn techniques for proving non-context-freeness.
