This study investigates the design considerations for assistive technologies aimed at home-based fall management, with a focus on insights gathered from senior adults, caregivers, and medical professionals. Through a combination of literature review, interviews, and paper prototype evaluations, the research identifies key communication needs, preferences, and challenges faced by stakeholders in managing fall risks and emergency situations. Findings highlight the importance of daily monitoring, personalized communication flows, and inclusive design principles in enhancing the usability and effectiveness of such systems. The study contributes valuable insights for designing connected product ecosystems tailored to the needs of diverse user groups, ultimately aiming to improve the safety and well-being of senior adults living independently at home. The remaining user groups, caregivers, Emergency Medical Technicians, and paramedics, in assistive systems contribute to the field study to reflect their needs and explore the system development for senior adults comprehensively. The research findings highlight implications for designing home-based connected product ecosystems for managing fall situations in senior adults.
