摘要

Based on the flow mechanism of shale gas in nanopores which is presented in this chapter, scholars have put forward different gas transport models. Javadpour studied the migration of shale gas by atomic mechanical microscopy and proposed an apparent permeability model considering the effect of Knudsen diffusion and gas slippage on the gas transport in nanopores of tight rock layers (Javadpour in J Can Pet Technol 48:16–21, 2009 [1]). Cheng (J Can Pet Technol 51:143–151, 2012 [2]) considered multiple transport mechanisms and derived a simplified model of apparent permeability (Cheng in J Can Pet Technol 51:143–151, 2012 [1]).
