Trauma-Informed Care
摘要
This chapter will discuss the principles of trauma-informed care (TIC) for children and young people. The authors include a consultant clinical psychologist and senior psychological therapist who both specialise in developmental and relational trauma and working with care-experienced children and the systems that support them. Guiding principles of trauma-informed care will be included as well as frameworks for service delivery. Additionally, there will be exploration of how to resist traumatising and re-traumatising staff as well as clients. Evidence-based therapeutic models will be presented with strategies to support those working with children and young people who have experienced developmental trauma.
