Cardiovascular diseases are the main cause of deaths worldwide, the primary method for diagnosing these diseases is thought the electrocardiogram exam. This exam measures the electrical activity of the heart using electrodes positioned on the body of the individual. In this work, we discuss the McSharry mathematical model. We compared the cardiac rate and Poincare index of simulated and experimental thacograms of healthy adults. The simulated thacograms are obtained from a revision the mathematical model. Our findings demonstrate that the simulated data is able to describe experimental tachograms.

摘要

Cardiovascular diseases are the main cause of deaths worldwide, the primary method for diagnosing these diseases is thought the electrocardiogram exam. This exam measures the electrical activity of the heart using electrodes positioned on the body of the individual. In this work, we discuss the McSharry mathematical model. We compared the cardiac rate and Poincare index of simulated and experimental thacograms of healthy adults. The simulated thacograms are obtained from a revision the mathematical model. Our findings demonstrate that the simulated data is able to describe experimental tachograms.
