Historically, sexual and reproductive health in the countries of the Global South has been treated from a reductionist medical perspective that separates it from other intersections related to the way in which people experience and manifest a state of health or nonhealth. We look at the development of the work on human sexuality and the insertion of the psychological discipline from its first concepts to contextually locate how the pioneers in this work had to insert themselves in spaces that were privileged for Eurocentric knowledge. With the gradual insertion of Latin American psychology into conversations about sexual and reproductive health, we developed our knowledge, gathered data about our communities, and adapted and created interventions. This chapter focuses on presenting some of the interventions adapted or developed for Latin American countries that have been evaluated.
