Urban areas are facing significant challenges related to energy consumption, environmental sustainability, and climate change. Harnessing renewable energy sources is a promising solution to address these challenges and promote sustainable urban development. This study explores various renewable energy technologies suitable for urban environments, including solar power, wind energy, and geothermal energy. It examines the potential benefits, challenges, and integration strategies of urban landscapes.
