Comparative Study of Proximate Composition of Fresh Water Fish Catla Catla and Labeo Rohita in Harike, Wetland Punjab India
摘要
The current research aiming at determining proximate composition of various freshwater species from vicinity of Sutlej River, specifically Harike wetland in Punjab. Harike Wetland amongst largest freshwater wetlands in Northern India, situated at 31°13′ N & 75°12′ E in state of Punjab, India. The proximity of biochemical analysis for Catla catla & Labeo rohita fish obtained from Harike performed as well as compared for determining their net chemical composition. Flesh samples from both fish species obtained then analysed for moisture, ash, fat, protein, & carbohydrate content.
