The construction industry and sustainability are closely related topics. The construction industry has a significant impact on the environment, which is why sustainability in the construction industry is becoming more of a significant priority than ever before. Sustainability in the construction industry means creating an environment that is based not only on ecological, economic, but also social principles. The priority goal is to reduce the impact of industry on the environment by using sustainable development procedures, using energy efficiency and the benefits of green and efficient technologies. Within the industry, construction plays an important role and its impact on the environment is considerable. It is generally believed that the construction sector, together with the operation of buildings, is responsible for 40% of all greenhouse gases. Therefore, there is increasing pressure not only on construction companies but also on related industries to innovate processes and switch to the so-called green solutions. The principles of sustainable construction are based on two basic facts—minimizing the consumption of resources, maximizing the consumption of renewable and recyclable resources, and trying to make full use of the possibilities of each resource. Therefore, it is necessary to create systems that manage energy efficiently, whether it is solar energy or efficient distribution of energy and minimization of waste. Based on the defined contexts, it is possible to say that taking into account the principles of sustainability not only in the construction industry is necessary and important for the healthy functioning of society in the future.

摘要
