The coconut stick insect, Graeffea crouanii (Le Guillou), is a significant pest threatening coconut production and livelihoods across the Pacific Island Countries and Territories (PICTs). This chapter provides a comprehensive overview of its biology, including life cycle, morphology, behavior, and host range. To mitigate its impact, a combination of cultural, physical, biological, and chemical control strategies is explored. Given the complex interplay of the pest, its environment, and the socioeconomic context of PICTs, an integrated pest management approach is essential for the sustainable management and protection of coconut resources in the region.
