Modern society requires innovative solutions to solve the complex challenges facing it. The development of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) is key to ensuring the sustainable development of society and solving its problems. Labor market research shows that there is a demand for skilled professionals in the STEM field, while there is a shortage of personnel in these fields. This is due to rapid technological transformation in all spheres of life. The integration of STEM technologies into university education is becoming an urgent task, which will contribute to the preparation of a competitive generation capable of solving modern challenges. In particular, STEM projects, such as “Modeling of spatial images of polyhedra”, develop analytical and creative thinking of students, providing the opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge in practical projects. In the process of implementing STEM projects, students, using the AutoCad graphic editor, develop the skills of building 3D models of polyhedra using digital technologies. The author’s technology for developing and printing 3D models is presented.
