Climatic factors, such as, increase in atmospheric temperature, atmospheric concentration of CO2, moisture and many other factors directly affect crop production. These aspects have been elaborately discussed in the previous chapters. Climate change causes weather variability which adversely affect food production which will have a cascading effect on food prices. This makes agriculture a vulnerable avocation. It is now realized that climate resilient agriculture (CRA) will be imperative to reduce the vulnerability of agriculture to climate change.
