The aim of Chap. 8 is to investigate the spectral operator theory of Stokes type and Oseen type operators arising from the problem 3.1 , 4.1 in \(L^2\) and \(L^q\) spaces in the whole space \({ \mathbb R}^3\) and in the exterior domain \(\mathcal {D}\) . The content of this chapter is essentially based on the series of five papers of the first and third author of this book with R. Farwig.
