In Amsterdam, the cell biologist Woutera van Iterson also had a Philips device set up, while the rest of the laboratory equipment was still missing. At Cosslett’sCosslett, Vernon Ellis, “a lot of work is done, but rather superficially,” while at McFarlane’sMcFarlane, Arthur Sproul, after the departure of an important employee, activities had largely come to a halt despite the very good conditions.
