摘要
The study aims to examine the impact of corporate governance on financial performance of SMEs in Bahrain. The study used a questionnaire to collect the data from 165 small and medium enterprises in Bahrain from May to July 2024. The study used SPSS program to analysis the data. The study result revealed that corporate governance has a significant influence on financial performance. The study’s results show that corporate governance has a significant impact on a company’s financial success. This means that strong corporate governance rules, including a company’s internal control systems, board structure, and shareholder rights, can boost a company’s financial performance. Strong corporate governance makes mechanisms more open and accountable, which builds investor trust and enhances performance. Also, good governance structures can fix problems making management’s goals match up with those of shareholders. This can lead to better decision-making and efficient risk management, which in the end results in better financial performance. The connection between how a company is managed and its money-making success is complex. Many factors can affect this association such as what type of business it is, how the economy is doing, and the company’s own plans. The research shows there’s a strong positive link between the two. However, we need more studies to understand all the ins and outs of this relationship. We also need to know what it means for different types of companies and industries.
