A Primacy Analysis of Saudi Arabia’s GII Performance Indicators: Transforming Business and Technology Through Industrial Innovation

The study examines the impact of industrial innovation on business and technological development within the framework of the Global Innovation Index (GII). This paper identifies and prioritizes critical industrial innovation indicators that significantly influence Saudi Arabia’s innovation performance. Using quantitative data from the GII over 12 years, the research evaluates the primacy of these indicators and their impact on innovation performance. It further develops a strategic blueprint for industry leaders and policymakers, offering actionable insights to enhance the country’s business and technological sectors through targeted economic interventions. The analysis reveals how specific innovation drivers, such as labor productivity growth and environmental performance, shape the nation’s technological and economic landscape, contributing to its Vision 2030 goals. The findings guide decision-making processes in fostering sustainable economic growth and promoting a knowledge-based economy in Saudi Arabia.
