This chapter delves into the intersection of mystery, alterity, and relationality in the pursuit of knowledge, interweaving philosophical reflections, anthropological debates, and creative writing interventions. Anchored in the Socratic engagement with the Oracle of Delphi, it considers ignorance as a fertile starting point for wisdom, using poetic prose to evoke the enigma of enquiry. The discussion extends to Emmanuel Levinas’s philosophy, exploring the Other as an irreducible mystery and emphasizing the ethical imperative to approach alterity with humility. Édouard Glissant’s notion of opacity is then examined as a decolonial epistemic stance resisting totalizing knowledge while embracing relational entanglements in the “chaos-monde.” Throughout, creative writing interventions, such as dialogues, poetic voices, and evocative imagery, are employed to amplify the text’s thematic exploration and invite readers to dwell in the tension between clarity and mystery.

摘要
