Artificial IntelligenceArtificial Intelligence (AI) finds application in many areas of everyday life. One of the main fields is medical diagnostics, which plays a key role in society's well-being and the quality and cost of healthcare. However, before allowing such algorithmic solutions, we should realize the dangers of their improper use and design, which could cause great harm to individual patients and cause excessively high costs to a healthcare system. This chapter mainly addresses the problems related to the dangers associated with reliable learning sets, which are the basis for machine learningMachine Learning algorithms, as well as the evaluation of the medical software based on machine learningMachine Learning algorithms. As a result, we can obtain algorithms to support medical diagnosis. We will point out selected aspects that need attention in the design of such systems and illustrate them with selected problems in ophthalmologyOphthalmology.

摘要
