Media comes in a variety of forms, many of which have been and can be readily incorporated to enhance one’s teaching. While video clips in the form of television shows and movies have been utilized in health professions education, newer forms like social media platforms are gaining popularity in the educational process. This chapter focuses on incorporating media into one’s teaching, ranging from simple print media to videos and social media. In addition, examples, instructions on embedding media into regular teaching activities, and a brief overview of the legalities surrounding media use are provided.
