摘要
Microaggressions are daily incidents or acts of aggression, directed particularly toward people of color, that can occur in any space, including in the clinical environment. They can have detrimental physiologic and psychological health effects on victims. Clinical educators have a responsibility to address these assaults and ensure the well-being of the victims. It can be intimidating addressing a microaggression, especially for those who are the intended target. This chapter provides historical context, definitions, examples, and guidance on microaggression in the clinical environment.
