This study explores the heterogeneous role of rain gardens and green corridors in urban environments as innovative and sustainable solutions for stormwater management. By investigating the design, implementation, and performance of rain gardens, the research aims to elucidate their efficacy in mitigating runoff, reducing pollutants, restore lake, underground water and fostering biodiversity. Through a comprehensive review of existing literature and case studies, the study emphasizes how rain gardens might support environmental preservation and urban resilience. The results highlight how crucial it is to include rain gardens in urban planning to solve the problems brought on by radical urbanization, water scarcity and climate change, ultimately fostering more resilient and ecologically balanced communities.

摘要
