Clinical studies have demonstrated that low GI/GL diets can reduce acne severity by potentially improving insulin sensitivity and altering sebum composition. These findings suggest that dietary modifications, specifically adopting low GI/GL diets, can effectively manage acne symptoms and improve patient outcomes.
