This study aims to investigate the impact of competitive strategies on competitiveness in the Turkish automotive industry. In the Turkish automotive industry, companies mainly work in accordance with the principles of supply chain management. Therefore, each business competes with its own peers and other chains within the chain structure, and they need to ensure sustainable growth for permanent competition. As one of the sectors that contribute to the competitiveness of the country's economy, the role of strategy selection for successful businesses and supply chains in the automotive industry is great. Within the scope of the study, the current situation of the Turkish automotive sector and the competitive strategies they have adopted have been examined. The study data were collected through surveys applied to a total of 30 white-collar employees in the purchasing, sales-marketing, production, quality assurance and R&D departments of 11 supply chain companies operating in the automotive sector. Correlation analysis and F-test were applied to the study data using IBM SPSS Statistics 29.0. The survey addressed the difficulties experienced by companies in foreign markets, the competitive strategies they adopted, the technologies they used, their R&D activities and their competitors in order to set sustainable goals through competition. The study results have revealed that strategies such as encouraging innovation, continuing R&D activities, investing in technology, increasing efficiency in production processes, cooperating closely with suppliers and adopting customer-oriented approaches are important in order to increase competitiveness in the automotive sector. The survey results show that automotive sector companies can further increase their competitiveness in global markets with the strategies they determine by forming collaborations at various levels.
